Dudley Sutton plays Pete, a biker that gets quite close to Reggie. He wedges himself in between Reggie and his new wife Dot, bond over motorcycles, and dreams of riding off into the sunset (taking a boat to NYC) with Reggie. And when it comes down to Reggie leaving Pete to go back to Dot, Pete tries to persuade him saying he does all the domestic work he needs done, he’s someone he can talk to, and the bed they share is what he calls home. At the very end of the film, the boat that the two try to board is apparently also going to be filled with a few other queer men.
